Terms & Conditions

By using this website or engaging Norvik Studio's services, you're agreeing to the terms below. We've kept them in plain language wherever we can, and they're governed by the laws of England and Wales.

01
Who We Are

The basics of who these terms cover

These Terms & Conditions apply to Norvik Studio ("Norvik", "we", "us", "our"), a UK-based creative content agency providing video editing, social media management and graphic design services, billed in GBP.

Throughout these terms, "you" or "your" refers to any individual or business accessing this website, requesting a proposal, or engaging our services. Questions about anything here can go straight to hello@norvikstudio.co.uk.

02
Acceptance of Terms

Using the site means you're on board with this

By browsing this website, booking a strategy call, or engaging any Norvik service, you confirm that you've read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book a call.

These terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and, where relevant, our Refund Policy.

03
Using This Website

A few things we ask you not to do

You may use this website for lawful purposes only, in a way that doesn't infringe on the rights of others or disrupt the site for anyone else. Specifically, you must not:

Transmit harmful content, including malware, spam, or anything unlawful, defamatory or abusive.
Attempt unauthorised access to any restricted area of this site, or the systems we use to run it.
Scrape or harvest data from this website using automated tools without our prior written consent.
Misrepresent your identity, or falsely claim an affiliation with Norvik Studio.

We may restrict or suspend access to this website at any time, without notice, for a breach of these terms.

04
Our Services

What's on this site vs. what's in your proposal

This website describes our video editing, social media management and design services for general information. Nothing on it is a binding offer on its own, formal engagement begins once a proposal is agreed and, where applicable, a service agreement is signed.

Quotations are indicative and valid for 30 days unless confirmed otherwise in writing. Onboarding requires your footage, brand assets or account access before work can begin, and plans described on our pricing page may be adjusted between billing cycles as your needs change.

05
Content & Intellectual Property

Who owns what, before and after delivery

Any footage, logos, brand assets or written material you provide us with remains your property. You confirm you have the rights to share it with us and to have us use it to produce your deliverables.

Finished deliverables, edited videos, scheduled posts, design files, are licensed to you in full once the associated invoice is paid. Norvik retains the underlying project files and may reference finished work in our own portfolio, unless you ask us in writing not to.

Everything on this website itself, copy, graphics, the Norvik name and logo, is our intellectual property and isn't covered by the above, it may not be reused without permission.

06
Payment & Contracts

Billing, invoicing and how the rolling contract works

All plans are billed monthly in GBP on a rolling contract, meaning there's no long-term lock-in. You can move between plans or pause work with reasonable notice, as set out in your proposal.

Invoicing happens at the start of each billing cycle, with payment due within the terms stated on the invoice.
Late payment may result in work being paused until the account is brought up to date.
Price changes, if any, will be communicated at least one billing cycle in advance.
07
Revisions & Cancellation

Turnaround, revisions and ending the plan

Once onboarded, with your footage or brand assets in hand, turnaround on your first batch of content follows our standard 48-hour cycle. Revision rounds are included per your plan and outlined in your proposal.

Because plans run on a rolling monthly basis, either party may cancel with notice ahead of the next billing date. Work already delivered and invoiced is non-refundable except as set out in our Refund Policy.

08
Disclaimers

What we can and can't promise about this site

This website is provided in good faith for general information. While we keep it accurate and up to date, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy of figures or timelines shown, the site's availability or uptime, or performance outcomes from social platforms, which depend on factors outside our control.

09
Limitation of Liability

Where our responsibility starts and stops

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Norvik isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of this website or our services, including loss of data, profit or business opportunity.

Nothing here excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so under English law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

10
Third-Party Tools & Links

Platforms and outside links we don't control

Delivering our services may involve third-party tools, such as scheduling platforms or social networks you grant us access to. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own terms, which we don't control.

This site may also link to external websites for convenience. A link doesn't imply our endorsement, and we're not responsible for the content or practices of sites we don't operate.

11
Changes & Governing Law

Questions before you get in touch?

We may update these terms from time to time, updating the "Last updated" date above when we do; continued use of the site after that means you accept the changes. They're governed by, and interpreted under, the laws of England and Wales, whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If anything above isn't clear, or you'd like to talk through a proposal first, email us directly.
